We are seeking an experienced Consultant General Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Burns and Reconstructive Surgery to join a leading healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role focuses on delivering advanced surgical and critical care for patients with severe burns, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do
* Perform complex burn surgeries, including skin grafting, tissue reconstruction, and microsurgical techniques for severe burns
* Conduct debridement, wound management, post-burn scar revision, and functional restoration procedures
* Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and critical care specialists to design comprehensive treatment plans
* Implement strict patient safety, infection control, and surgical best practices across all burn care procedures
* Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and educational programs within the burns surgery department
* Develop long-term rehabilitation strategies including physiotherapy and psychological support for burn patients
Ideal Profile
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution
* Board certification in General Surgery with fellowship training in Burns and Reconstructive Surgery
* Minimum 6 years’ post-certification experience in a tertiary burns center
* Proven expertise in skin grafting, microsurgery, and critical burn care management
* Strong knowledge of wound healing, reconstructive techniques, and infection control measures
* Exceptional leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills
* Ability to excel in a high-pressure, fast-paced surgical environment
