Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Western-trained Consultant General Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Burns and Reconstructive Surgery to join a leading tertiary hospital in Abu Dhabi. The position focuses on the comprehensive surgical management of major burn injuries, reconstructive procedures, and multidisciplinary patient rehabilitation within a state-of-the-art critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform advanced surgical procedures for acute and chronic burn injuries including debridement, skin grafting, flap reconstruction, and microsurgery.
* Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising anesthesiologists, intensivists, physiotherapists, and psychologists to ensure comprehensive patient recovery.
* Manage critical care aspects of severe burn cases, including fluid resuscitation and wound infection control.
* Develop individualized reconstructive and rehabilitation plans for functional and cosmetic recovery.
* Participate in departmental research, clinical audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
* Provide education, supervision, and mentorship to junior surgeons, residents, and nursing staff.
* Ensure compliance with international burn management standards and DOH regulatory requirements.
Ideal Profile
* Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
* Board Certification in General Surgery with Fellowship in Burns and Reconstructive Surgery.
* Minimum 6 years of post-certification experience managing complex burns in tertiary or specialized hospitals.
* Expertise in wound healing, grafting techniques, and reconstructive microsurgery.
* Eligible for DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) Consultant license.
* Excellent leadership, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
