We are seeking an experienced Consultant General Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Thyroid Surgery to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role involves providing advanced surgical care for thyroid-related conditions, including cancer treatment, minimally invasive procedures, and endocrine surgery, in a modern, multidisciplinary clinical environment.

What You’ll Do
* Evaluate and manage patients with thyroid disorders through physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic testing
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for a wide range of thyroid conditions
* Perform surgical procedures including thyroidectomies, lobectomies, and lymph node dissections for thyroid cancer cases
* Utilize minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical techniques to enhance recovery and reduce patient discomfort
* Collaborate with endocrinologists, radiologists, and pathologists for a comprehensive approach to care
* Stay current with advancements and best practices in thyroid and endocrine surgery
* Mentor and train residents, fellows, and medical students in thyroid surgery techniques and procedures
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from an accredited institution
* Board certification in General Surgery with fellowship training in Endocrine or Thyroid Surgery
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Consultant General Surgeon with a focus on thyroid procedures
* Licensed or eligible for licensing as a consultant surgeon in Abu Dhabi
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
* Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered surgical care
