We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant General Surgeon with expertise in Trauma Surgery to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. This role involves providing critical surgical care to patients with traumatic injuries, ensuring timely and effective treatment in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
* Perform surgeries for trauma cases, from minor injuries to complex fractures and organ damage.
* Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including wound management and medication plans.
* Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes.
* Participate in continuing education and research to stay current with advancements in trauma care.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from a recognized institution.
* Board certification in General Surgery with subspecialty in Trauma Surgery.
* Minimum of 5 years of consultant-level experience in trauma care.
* Western-trained education or equivalent.
* Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure.
* Valid license to practice in Abu Dhabi or eligibility to obtain one.
