The consultant will focus on preventing, diagnosing, treating, and managing age-related conditions while addressing the complex medical, functional, and cognitive needs of elderly patients.

- Develop individualized care plans addressing complex medical, functional, and cognitive needs.
- Provide comprehensive management for patients experiencing frailty and age-related health complications.
- Assess and manage dementia and associated cognitive concerns.
- Evaluate patients at risk of falls and contribute to appropriate prevention and management strategies.
- Manage osteoporosis and other relevant conditions affecting older adults.
- Review and manage polypharmacy as part of comprehensive geriatric care.
- Coordinate the management of chronic diseases affecting elderly patients.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation professionals, nursing teams, social services, and other healthcare specialists.
- Promote healthy aging, preventive care, and appropriate patient education.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
- Contribute to medical education and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Recognized Board Certification, CCT, or Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine, or Internal Medicine with specialization in Geriatrics.
- Appropriate UAE professional license or eligibility for Consultant-level licensing in Dubai.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Consultant-level experience in Geriatric Medicine.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
