Key Responsibilities
* Perform advanced glaucoma procedures including trabeculectomy, tube shunt implantation, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and laser interventions
* Diagnose and manage primary open-angle, angle-closure, and secondary glaucomas using evidence-based clinical protocols
* Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient glaucoma care with structured long-term follow-up plans
* Utilize advanced imaging technologies such as OCT and visual field analysis for disease monitoring
* Collaborate with retina, cornea, and general ophthalmology specialists to deliver integrated patient-centered treatment
* Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and departmental continuing education initiatives
* Contribute to teaching, mentorship, and supervision of junior ophthalmologists and residents
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with DHA regulatory standards
Ideal Profile
* Medical Degree with completed specialization in Ophthalmology
* UK CCT, American Board Certification, or equivalent recognized qualification
* Fellowship training in Glaucoma preferred
* Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in glaucoma surgery
* DHA eligibility or licensure in Dubai
* Proven surgical expertise with strong patient satisfaction outcomes
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
