Position Overview
The Consultant Hematologist - Benign Disorders Specialist role in Dubai UAE focuses on providing advanced care for non-malignant blood disorders within a modern healthcare environment. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while contributing to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
Core Duties
* Diagnose and manage benign hematological conditions including anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, and bleeding disorders
* Interpret bone marrow biopsies, blood smears, and laboratory investigations
* Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings and best practices
* Collaborate with internal medicine, oncology, and transfusion teams for integrated patient care
* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical case discussions
* Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based practice
* Provide teaching and mentorship to junior doctors and healthcare professionals
Required Skills and Experience
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree
* Completion of specialist training in Hematology such as CCT, FRCP, FRCPath, American Board, or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in benign hematology
* DHA eligibility or licensure preferred
* Strong diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills
* Fluent in English, Arabic is an advantage
