This Consultant Hepatobiliary Surgeon role focuses on performing complex procedures, managing critical cases, and contributing to high-quality patient outcomes within a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform advanced surgical procedures for liver and hepatobiliary conditions
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
* Manage complex cases involving liver diseases and biliary disorders
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including gastroenterologists, oncologists, and radiologists
* Provide on-call support for emergency surgical cases
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in hepatobiliary and liver surgery

Candidate Requirements
* Medical degree from a recognized institution
* UK CCT or American Board certification in Liver or Hepatobiliary Surgery
* Minimum 5 years of experience at consultant level
* Strong expertise in complex liver and hepatobiliary surgical procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
