The role is designed for a consultant who can diagnose and treat complex neurological and vascular conditions using CT, MRI, angiography, endovascular techniques, and evidence-based clinical protocols.
This position plays a critical role in acute stroke care, aneurysm treatment, vascular malformation management, trauma response, and multidisciplinary neurological services. The consultant will work closely with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, emergency physicians, anesthetists, ICU teams, and other specialists to deliver timely, safe, and precise patient care.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures for patients with neurological and vascular conditions.
* Manage endovascular treatment of aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and other complex cerebrovascular disorders.
* Perform mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke cases requiring urgent intervention.
* Carry out carotid stenting, intracranial stenting, spinal vascular interventions, and related minimally invasive neurovascular procedures.
* Interpret advanced neuroimaging studies including CT, MRI, angiography, and related diagnostic imaging.
* Prepare accurate diagnostic reports and provide timely clinical input for treatment planning.
* Participate in emergency neuro-interventional procedures for acute stroke, trauma, and high-risk neurological cases.
* Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, emergency medicine teams, and ICU specialists to support multidisciplinary patient care.
* Apply international clinical standards, evidence-based protocols, and patient safety practices throughout diagnosis and treatment.
* Contribute to teaching, mentoring junior doctors, supporting clinical case discussions, and participating in research activity.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with DHA licensing expectations and hospital governance requirements.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with fellowship or subspecialty training in Interventional Neuroradiology.
* Board certification or equivalent qualification in Radiology, Neuroradiology, or a closely related specialty.
* Eligibility for licensing with the Dubai Health Authority.
* Proven expertise in neuro-interventional procedures and advanced neuroimaging interpretation.
* Strong clinical experience in stroke intervention, aneurysm treatment, AVM management, vascular stenting, and angiography.
* Confident ability to work during emergency stroke and trauma cases requiring fast clinical decisions.
* Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Fluency in English is required, while Arabic or additional language skills are an advantage.
* Commitment to evidence-based medicine, patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
