Consultant Interventional Radiologist - Image Guided Care in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a senior Hospital and Health Care opportunity for a Western-trained, Arabic-speaking physician with advanced expertise in minimally invasive image-guided procedures, diagnostic imaging interpretation, and multidisciplinary patient care. The role is suited for a consultant who can perform complex vascular, oncologic, emergency, and general interventional radiology procedures while maintaining strong clinical judgment and patient safety standards.
This position supports an advanced imaging and interventional service where procedural accuracy, fast decision-making, and close coordination with clinical teams are essential. The consultant will use CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities to diagnose conditions, guide interventions, and deliver effective treatment plans across multiple specialties.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, embolization, biopsies, drainages, and other image-guided interventions.
* Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, and related imaging studies to support diagnosis, procedural planning, and treatment decisions.
* Provide minimally invasive care across specialties such as oncology, vascular medicine, emergency care, surgery, and internal medicine.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver patient-centered treatment plans.
* Assess patients before procedures, explain risks and expectations, and support safe post-procedure monitoring.
* Ensure all clinical activity follows UAE healthcare regulations, DHA requirements, hospital policies, and patient safety protocols.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation, procedural reports, consent records, and follow-up notes.
* Mentor junior radiologists, residents, fellows, and clinical staff through procedural guidance and case-based learning.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, research activity, and continuous medical education.
* Uphold high standards of infection control, radiation safety, ethical practice, and clinical governance.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree such as MD or equivalent from a recognized institution.
* Board certification in Radiology with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
* Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in interventional procedures.
* Western training such as UK CCT, American Board, or equivalent is required.
* Fluent Arabic and English communication skills are required.
* DHA license or eligibility to practice as a consultant in Dubai.
* Strong diagnostic imaging interpretation and procedural radiology skills.
* Proven experience in angioplasty, stenting, embolization, biopsies, drainages, and image-guided treatment.
* Excellent communication, leadership, teamwork, and patient-management abilities.
