This position plays a key role in delivering image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, improving patient outcomes through minimally invasive techniques, and supporting advanced clinical services. The role contributes to innovation, patient safety, and continuous improvement in interventional radiology practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures including vascular and non-vascular interventions
* Interpret imaging studies and provide accurate diagnostic and procedural reports
* Collaborate with referring physicians to design and implement effective treatment plans
* Ensure patient safety, comfort, and informed care throughout all procedural stages
* Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical staff
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and techniques in interventional radiology
* Participate in clinical audits, research initiatives, and quality improvement programs
* Maintain accurate patient records and procedural documentation
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with specialist training in Radiology
* Fellowship in Interventional Radiology preferred
* Board certification such as FRCR, CCST, ABR, or equivalent
* 5–7 years of post-specialist training experience
* DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai
* Strong clinical judgment and technical expertise
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
