Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive initial consultations to evaluate patient history and fertility concerns.
- Develop individualized fertility treatment plans based on clinical findings and diagnostic results.
- Perform IVF procedures including egg retrieval and embryo transfer with appropriate clinical care.
- Monitor patients throughout fertility treatment, including medication protocols and ultrasound evaluations.
- Interpret relevant diagnostic tests and provide evidence-based treatment recommendations.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, embryologists, geneticists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary professionals.
- Educate patients about fertility options, treatment procedures, potential risks, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments in reproductive medicine and incorporate appropriate techniques into clinical practice.
- Provide professional guidance and training to nurses, embryologists, and junior medical staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable regulatory and ethical standards.
- Participate in reproductive medicine research, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Board Certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing IVF and advanced reproductive procedures.
- Proficiency in ICSI, embryo biopsy, and other advanced assisted reproductive technology techniques.
- Appropriate UAE professional license or eligibility for Consultant-level licensing in Dubai.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and multidisciplinary team interaction.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-volume fertility center.
