The Consultant IVF Specialist plays a critical role in helping patients achieve successful pregnancies through advanced reproductive medicine, fertility treatment planning, and assisted reproductive technologies. This position strengthens healthcare excellence by delivering high-precision IVF procedures, improving patient outcomes, and supporting multidisciplinary fertility services within a specialist reproductive medicine environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed fertility consultations to assess medical history, reproductive health, and infertility causes for individualized treatment planning
* Perform IVF procedures including ovarian stimulation planning, egg retrieval, sperm preparation, embryo transfer, and post-treatment follow-up
* Manage advanced reproductive procedures such as ICSI, embryo biopsy, embryo freezing, and fertility preservation services
* Monitor patients throughout treatment cycles including medication protocols, hormonal evaluation, ultrasound monitoring, and response assessment
* Interpret fertility investigations, hormonal profiles, semen analysis, and diagnostic imaging to support evidence-based treatment decisions
* Collaborate with obstetricians, embryologists, geneticists, psychologists, and nursing teams for comprehensive patient care
* Educate patients regarding fertility options, IVF procedures, treatment risks, expected outcomes, and reproductive planning
* Supervise and support nurses, embryologists, and junior clinical staff within the fertility center
* Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations and ethical reproductive medicine standards
* Participate in research, clinical audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives within IVF and reproductive medicine services
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree such as MD or equivalent from a recognized institution
* Board certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility is essential
* Minimum five years of experience performing IVF and advanced reproductive procedures
* Strong expertise in ICSI, embryo biopsy, and advanced assisted reproductive technology techniques
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate patient-centered approach
* Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced and high-volume fertility center
* Strong leadership and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities
* Eligibility for specialist licensing within UAE healthcare authority standards
