Consultant Neonatologist - Abu Dhabi
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Neonatologist to join a prestigious hospital in Abu Dhabi. This role involves managing critically ill newborns in a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), ensuring the highest standards of care and patient safety.

What You’ll Do
* Diagnose and treat premature and critically ill newborns with complex medical conditions.
* Manage NICU operations, including advanced ventilation and neonatal resuscitation procedures.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing expert guidance in high-risk neonatal cases.
* Offer consultative support for neonatal and perinatal complications.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and academic programs.
* Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
* Train and mentor junior doctors and NICU nursing staff.
* Provide emergency on-call coverage for neonatal cases.
Ideal Profile
* Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent qualification.
* Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
* Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in a tertiary NICU setting.
* DHA/MOH/HAAD consultant license preferred.
* Advanced expertise in neonatal ventilation, nutrition, and infection control.
* Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
* Western-trained education or equivalent highly desirable.
