Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is recruiting an experienced Consultant Neonatologist on behalf of a top-tier hospital in Saudi Arabia. The recruitment process and coordination will be managed through our Dubai operations. The ideal candidate will deliver expert neonatal care, manage critically ill newborns, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of treatment and developmental outcomes. Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess the health and development of newborns.
* Diagnose and treat a variety of neonatal conditions including respiratory distress, infections, and congenital abnormalities.
* Prescribe medications and oversee neonatal care plans with precision and compassion.
* Monitor growth parameters and provide parental guidance on infant care, feeding, and nutrition.
* Collaborate with pediatricians, obstetricians, and nursing teams to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
* Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, nurses, and residents.
* Participate in continuous medical education, neonatal conferences, and training sessions.
* Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance and safety standards.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
* Board certification or equivalent specialization in Neonatology.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Neonatologist.
* Western-trained professional preferred with experience in tertiary care hospitals.
* Valid license to practice in Saudi Arabia or eligibility to obtain one.
* Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership abilities.
* Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
