What You’ll Do
* Provide specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU from admission through discharge
* Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and lab results, to guide treatment plans
* Monitor patient progress closely and respond promptly to any changes in condition
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure integrated, high-quality care
* Educate and counsel parents on neonatal care, feeding techniques, and infant development milestones
* Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient medical records
* Apply evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in neonatal medicine
* Participate in hospital quality improvement programs and adhere to safety protocols
* Mentor junior doctors and nursing staff, fostering continuous learning and professional growth
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with board certification in Neonatal Intensive Care or equivalent
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Consultant NICU or Neonatologist in a reputable healthcare facility
* Western-trained or equivalent international experience highly preferred
* Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced clinical environment
* Proven problem-solving abilities and commitment to patient safety and excellence in care
