Role Context
This position plays a vital role in strengthening neurointerventional services by managing critical neurological cases, enhancing stroke response systems, and contributing to improved patient outcomes through advanced endovascular techniques.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform a wide range of neurointerventional procedures including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, embolization, and vascular stenting
* Analyze and interpret advanced imaging such as CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
* Provide expert consultations for neurovascular disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings
* Participate in emergency stroke care and neurointerventional on-call rotations
* Work closely with neurology, neurosurgery, emergency, and critical care teams for coordinated patient management
* Support development of clinical protocols, pathways, and service improvement initiatives
* Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions
* Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and allied healthcare staff

Ideal Profile

* Medical Degree (MD or MBBS) from a recognized institution
* Board Certification in Radiology from an accredited body
* Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology or Endovascular Neurosurgery
* Minimum 8-10 years of post-specialization experience including consultant-level practice
* Eligibility for DOH or HAAD consultant licensure
* Proven expertise in neurovascular and stroke intervention procedures
* Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
* Fluency in English with Arabic considered an advantage
