What You’ll Do
* Conduct comprehensive evaluations and advanced diagnostic assessments for epilepsy patients, including EEG and MRI interpretation.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, combining surgical interventions and medical management.
* Perform complex surgical procedures such as craniotomies and stereotactic surgeries for epilepsy control.
* Collaborate closely with neurologists, neuropsychologists, and radiologists to ensure holistic patient care.
* Provide follow-up consultations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Engage in research initiatives, academic contributions, and continuous improvement programs to advance neurosurgical practices.
* Mentor and supervise junior medical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and high clinical standards.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from an accredited institution with Board Certification in Neurosurgery.
* Fellowship in Epilepsy Surgery preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Neurosurgeon, with a specialization in epilepsy surgical procedures.
* Expertise in advanced diagnostic techniques and surgical innovations.
* Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a team-oriented approach.
* Western education or equivalent training is mandatory.
