The role is suited for a specialist physician who can provide comprehensive women’s healthcare, manage complex obstetric cases, and perform advanced surgical procedures within a modern multidisciplinary clinical setting.
This position supports high-quality maternal and gynecological care by combining consultant-level diagnosis, surgical precision, pregnancy management, and patient-centered treatment planning. The consultant will work closely with surgical teams, maternity units, nursing staff, anesthetists, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure safe outcomes for women across different stages of care.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
* Manage normal pregnancies, high-risk pregnancies, antenatal care, postnatal care, and pregnancy-related complications.
* Perform advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive gynecological surgeries with a strong focus on patient safety and clinical outcomes.
* Conduct cesarean sections, emergency obstetric procedures, and other consultant-level women’s health interventions.
* Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions including fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, and infertility-related concerns.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary medical teams to support integrated care for maternity, surgical, and gynecological patients.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with DHA requirements, hospital protocols, and international healthcare standards.
* Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, patient safety reviews, and medical education activities.
* Counsel patients clearly on treatment options, surgical risks, recovery expectations, and long-term women’s health management.
* Support continuous improvement in obstetric and gynecological services through evidence-based practice and ethical clinical decision-making.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with recognized specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
* Fellowship, board certification, or equivalent specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
* Advanced training and proven expertise in laparoscopic gynecological surgery.
* Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
* Active DHA license or eligibility for DHA Consultant classification is preferred.
* Strong experience in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures and obstetric management.
* Confident in managing high-risk pregnancies, emergency obstetric cases, and complex gynecological disorders.
* Female candidate preferred as per operational and patient care requirements.
* Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, culturally aware, and patient-focused approach.
