One of the leading hospitals in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to provide world-class eye care services. What You’ll Do
* Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and provide accurate diagnosis for various ophthalmic conditions.
* Perform advanced surgical procedures, including cataract extraction, refractive surgery, and corneal transplants.
* Prescribe medications, contact lenses, and low-vision aids for optimal patient care.
* Educate patients and their families on eye health and treatment options.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
* Mentor and train junior doctors and clinical staff to maintain high standards of ophthalmic care.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology from an accredited institution.
* Western board certification (UK, US, Canada) or equivalent training is mandatory.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a recognized hospital setting.
* Strong surgical expertise in complex ophthalmic cases.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
