Key Responsibilities
* Perform complex paediatric cardiac surgeries including open-heart procedures and congenital defect corrections
* Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care including ICU management and long-term follow-up
* Collaborate with paediatric cardiologists, anesthetists, and intensivists for optimal patient outcomes
* Participate in emergency surgeries and on-call rotations
* Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and fellows
* Contribute to research, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
* Maintain accurate medical records in line with hospital standards
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with specialization in Cardiothoracic Surgery
* Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery from a recognized institution
* Board certification such as American Board, FRCS, or equivalent
* Minimum 5–10 years of post-fellowship experience
* Proven expertise in complex paediatric cardiac surgeries
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Fluency in English with Arabic as an advantage
* Experience in high-volume or GCC healthcare settings preferred
