* Review ECG and Holter monitoring results for rhythm assessment and treatment planning.
* Evaluate cardiac CT and MRI findings when relevant to congenital anatomy and intervention strategy.
* Participate in multidisciplinary cardiac conferences and congenital heart disease surgical planning meetings.
* Collaborate with pediatric cardiac surgeons to determine whether catheter-based, surgical, or hybrid treatment offers the best outcome.
* Provide on-call support for pediatric cardiac emergencies and urgent interventional cases.
* Manage procedural complications including arrhythmia, vascular injury, device-related complications, hemodynamic instability, and bleeding.
* Coordinate peri-procedural care with cardiac anesthesia, intensive care, perfusion, nursing, and imaging teams.
* Explain diagnoses, catheter procedures, potential complications, expected benefits, and follow-up requirements to parents and families.
* Maintain accurate catheterization reports, procedural documentation, consent records, imaging findings, and follow-up plans.
* Contribute to clinical governance, outcome monitoring, quality improvement, and development of pediatric interventional cardiology protocols.
* Mentor fellows, residents, junior physicians, and clinical staff in pediatric cardiology and catheterization practice.
* Participate in research, clinical audits, academic presentations, and continuing medical education.
* Support teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows through case discussions, procedural training, and structured educational activities.
