Key Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive emergency assessment and management for pediatric patients with acute medical surgical and trauma conditions
* Lead pediatric resuscitation efforts including airway management vascular access and critical interventions
* Diagnose and manage conditions such as respiratory distress seizures infections dehydration and allergic reactions
* Perform emergency procedures including lumbar puncture fracture reduction wound repair and procedural sedation
* Coordinate care with pediatric specialists surgeons intensivists and emergency teams
* Ensure efficient patient flow and operational effectiveness within the emergency department
* Contribute to development of clinical guidelines quality improvement programs and departmental strategies
* Participate in clinical audits morbidity reviews and governance activities
* Mentor junior doctors residents and nursing staff to enhance clinical performance
* Communicate clearly with families regarding diagnosis treatment plans and follow up care
* Support teaching research activities and continuous medical education initiatives

Ideal Profile

* Medical degree from a recognized institution
* Board certification in pediatric emergency medicine or equivalent specialization
* Minimum 8 to 10 years of post specialization experience including consultant level practice
* Eligibility for UAE consultant level medical licensure
* Strong expertise in pediatric resuscitation trauma and acute care management
* Proven leadership and team collaboration skills in emergency settings
* Excellent communication abilities with patient and family focused approach
* English fluency required with Arabic considered an advantage
