Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children with ear, nose, throat, hearing, airway, sinus, tonsil, and speech-related concerns.
* Diagnose and manage pediatric ENT conditions such as ear infections, tonsillitis, adenoid problems, hearing loss, speech disorders, nasal obstruction, sinus disease, and related childhood conditions.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s age, symptoms, diagnosis, family concerns, and long-term care needs.
* Provide specialist consultation to pediatricians, family physicians, audiologists, speech therapists, and other medical professionals regarding pediatric ENT cases.
* Perform approved pediatric ENT surgical procedures when required, ensuring safe preparation, clear family communication, and careful post-operative follow-up.
* Monitor patient progress during treatment and adjust care plans according to recovery, diagnostic findings, and clinical response.
* Collaborate with audiologists, speech and language therapists, pediatricians, nurses, anesthesiologists, and allied health professionals to support complete child-focused care.
* Maintain accurate medical records, consultation notes, procedure reports, diagnostic findings, treatment plans, and follow-up documentation.
* Apply current pediatric ENT practices, clinical protocols, and evidence-based treatment methods to improve patient outcomes.
* Communicate clearly and compassionately with children and families, helping them understand diagnosis, treatment options, procedure risks, and recovery expectations.
Ideal Profile
* Licensed physician with specialization in Pediatrics and Otolaryngology or ENT.
* Western-trained education or experience is required.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric ENT in a reputable medical facility.
* Strong clinical background in pediatric ear, nose, and throat care.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care in a pediatric setting.
* Strong knowledge of current pediatric ENT practices, procedures, diagnostics, and treatment pathways.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to children and families.
