Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage pediatric infectious diseases including viral, bacterial, fungal, and parasitic infections
* Interpret diagnostic tests such as cultures, PCR, serologies, and imaging studies
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic infections
* Lead infection prevention and control programs within pediatric units
* Collaborate with pediatricians, microbiologists, intensivists, and public health teams
* Provide consultative care for immunocompromised and post-transplant patients
* Educate families on infection prevention, vaccination, and antimicrobial stewardship

Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from a recognized institution
* Board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases
* Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in a tertiary or academic hospital
* DHA eligibility or UAE consultant license
* Strong clinical and diagnostic decision-making skills
* Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach
