Role Context
The Consultant Neurologist is responsible for providing expert clinical care across a wide range of neurological conditions, ensuring accurate diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and long-term management aligned with international healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed neurological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
* Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and migraine
* Interpret advanced neurodiagnostic investigations including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to manage complex cases
* Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and fellows
* Contribute to clinical audits, research initiatives, and continuing medical education
* Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, regulatory standards, and patient safety guidelines
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with specialization in Neurology
* Board certification in Neurology from a recognized authority
* Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience
* Strong expertise in neuroimaging and neurophysiological diagnostics
* Proven leadership and decision-making abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
