This position plays a critical role in diagnosing and managing pediatric renal diseases, supporting dialysis programs, and contributing to transplant pathways. The role enhances patient care quality, supports clinical innovation, and strengthens pediatric nephrology services within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage pediatric kidney conditions including congenital anomalies, nephrotic and nephritic syndromes, and chronic kidney disease
* Manage hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and complex tubular conditions in children
* Oversee pediatric dialysis programs including peritoneal and hemodialysis
* Support renal transplant evaluation and post-transplant patient management
* Interpret renal imaging, biopsy findings, and advanced laboratory diagnostics
* Collaborate with pediatric specialists including urology, endocrinology, and critical care teams
* Educate families on disease management, treatment plans, and long-term care strategies
* Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and continuing medical education
Ideal Profile
* Board certification in Pediatric Nephrology from a recognized authority
* Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai
* Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in a tertiary or academic hospital
* Proven expertise in managing complex pediatric renal cases and dialysis programs
