Role Context
This position plays a critical role in managing complex neuro-oncology cases in children, supporting advanced treatment protocols, and improving long-term patient outcomes. The role contributes to clinical excellence, program development, and research within pediatric oncology services while strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

* Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric CNS tumors including medulloblastoma, gliomas, ependymoma, and rare brain tumors
* Lead individualized treatment plans involving chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy approaches
* Collaborate with radiation oncology and neurosurgery teams for integrated treatment planning
* Manage treatment-related complications including neurotoxicity and endocrine disorders
* Provide inpatient and outpatient care including long-term follow-up for survivors
* Participate actively in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case discussions
* Contribute to the development of pediatric neuro-oncology clinical programs and protocols
* Mentor junior physicians, fellows, and clinical staff
* Communicate effectively with families, providing clear and compassionate guidance on treatment plans
* Support psychosocial care in coordination with multidisciplinary support teams
* Participate in research activities, clinical trials, and academic publications

Ideal Profile

* Medical degree from a recognized institution
* Board certification in Pediatric Oncology or Hematology
* Fellowship training in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology
* 8–10 years of post-specialization experience including consultant-level practice
* Proven expertise in managing complex pediatric CNS tumor cases
* Strong leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
* Excellent communication and patient care approach
* Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
