Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological conditions such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, developmental delays, and genetic syndromes.
* Perform and interpret EEGs, neuroimaging, and other diagnostic tests.
* Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, including emergency neurological care.
* Collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation teams, and genetic specialists for integrated treatment plans.
* Participate in multidisciplinary reviews, clinical audits, and departmental quality improvement initiatives.
* Counsel and educate families about condition management, treatment options, and prognosis.
* Contribute to research projects, CME programs, and academic teaching activities.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
* Board certification in Pediatric Neurology (American Board, Royal College, or equivalent).
* Subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology or Pediatric Epilepsy preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience in a tertiary or academic hospital setting.
* Eligible for DOH Consultant license in Abu Dhabi.
* Strong diagnostic and procedural expertise in pediatric neurology.
* Family-centered communication and culturally sensitive approach.
