Role Context
This role focuses on delivering specialized pediatric oncology care with expertise in bone marrow transplantation, supporting multidisciplinary treatment pathways and advancing clinical and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat pediatric oncology and hematology conditions including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors
Perform and oversee autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplants
Lead multidisciplinary case discussions and develop individualized treatment plans
Supervise junior physicians and fellows in pediatric oncology and BMT protocols
Ensure compliance with international standards of care and hospital policies
Participate in clinical trials, research initiatives, and continuing medical education
Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding treatment and post-transplant care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in on-call rotations and emergency coverage
Ideal Profile
Medical degree with board certification in Pediatric Hematology Oncology
Fellowship training in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation
Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience
Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure
Western training preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
