Consultant Pediatric Oncologist BMT in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a senior Hospital and Health Care opportunity for an experienced pediatric hematology and oncology specialist with advanced expertise in bone marrow transplantation, childhood cancers, leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors, and complex hematologic disorders. This role is designed for a consultant who can lead pediatric oncology and BMT care, guide multidisciplinary treatment planning, support families through complex therapy decisions, and contribute to clinical excellence, research, and education.

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage pediatric oncology and hematology conditions, including leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors, bone marrow failure syndromes, and complex blood disorders.
* Perform, oversee, and support autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplantation for pediatric patients requiring advanced treatment.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, disease stage, transplant eligibility, patient condition, and long-term recovery needs.
* Lead multidisciplinary case reviews with pediatric oncologists, hematologists, transplant coordinators, intensivists, infectious disease specialists, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health teams.
* Supervise junior physicians, fellows, residents, and clinical staff involved in pediatric oncology, hematology, and BMT protocols.
* Ensure compliance with international standards of care, transplant safety protocols, hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and clinical governance requirements.
* Monitor patients before, during, and after transplant, including conditioning therapy, graft monitoring, complications, immunosuppression, and post-transplant follow-up.
* Provide clear education and counseling to children, parents, and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, transplant risks, expected outcomes, and long-term care.
* Participate in clinical trials, research initiatives, tumor boards, transplant meetings, CME activities, audits, and academic presentations.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, transplant plans, consent forms, treatment notes, follow-up care, and clinical outcomes.
* Participate in on-call rotations and emergency coverage for pediatric oncology, hematology, and transplant-related complications when required.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree such as MD, MBBS, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
* Board certification in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology.
* Fellowship training in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation is mandatory.
* Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in pediatric oncology and BMT.
* Eligibility for UAE healthcare licensure is required.
* Western-trained candidates from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or similar systems are preferred.
* Strong experience in pediatric cancer care, bone marrow transplant protocols, chemotherapy planning, immunosuppression, infection risk management, and post-transplant monitoring.
* Proven ability to manage complex pediatric oncology and hematology cases in a tertiary care or transplant center environment.
