This role is essential in supporting pediatric clinical decision-making through precise imaging diagnostics, ensuring timely reporting, and enhancing patient outcomes. The position contributes to clinical governance, imaging protocol development, and maintaining international standards of pediatric radiology care.

Key Responsibilities

* Interpret pediatric imaging studies including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy with high diagnostic accuracy
* Perform and supervise ultrasound and image-guided procedures such as biopsies and drainage
* Provide subspecialty input for neonatal, emergency, surgical, and complex pediatric cases
* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings including NICU, PICU, oncology, and surgical case discussions
* Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
* Support development of imaging protocols, clinical pathways, and quality improvement initiatives
* Train and mentor junior doctors, radiographers, and allied healthcare staff
* Maintain accurate and timely reporting aligned with departmental performance standards
* Participate in on-call rotations as required

Ideal Profile

* Medical degree with recognized certification in Radiology such as FRCR, ABR, or equivalent
* Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology from a recognized institution
* 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in pediatric imaging
* DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai
* Strong expertise in cross-sectional and emergency pediatric radiology
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced and multicultural environments
