Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed evaluations of pediatric patients, including physical function, mobility, cognitive development, emotional needs, communication ability, and rehabilitation potential.
* Develop personalized pediatric rehabilitation plans based on each child’s diagnosis, developmental stage, family goals, clinical needs, and functional limitations.
* Coordinate rehabilitative therapies such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, mobility training, and functional independence support.
* Work closely with pediatricians, therapists, nurses, psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare providers to monitor progress.
* Adjust treatment plans when needed based on patient response, recovery milestones, functional improvement, and family feedback.
* Educate parents and caregivers on home exercises, safe movement strategies, assistive techniques, therapy goals, and ways to support rehabilitation outcomes.
* Support children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal concerns, post-injury recovery needs, and chronic physical limitations.
* Maintain accurate medical records, assessment reports, treatment plans, therapy progress notes, and follow-up documentation.
* Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care across hospital, outpatient, rehabilitation, and home-based support settings.
* Stay updated with current advances in pediatric rehabilitation, assistive technology, therapy protocols, and evidence-based child rehabilitation care.
Ideal Profile
* American Board certification in Pediatric Rehabilitation is required.
* Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Pediatric Rehabilitation Consultant.
* Strong clinical knowledge of pediatric rehabilitation practices, functional recovery methods, therapy planning, and child-centered care protocols.
* Experience working in a rehabilitation setting with children requiring physical, cognitive, developmental, or emotional support.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to guide families through sensitive care decisions.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
* Fluent English communication is required.
* Arabic language skills are an advantage.
* Strong commitment to patient safety, clinical documentation, multidisciplinary teamwork, and compassionate family-centered care.
* Experience in modern hospital or rehabilitation center settings is preferred.
