Position Overview
Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist role with Allocation Assist Middle East supporting a modern, high-acuity healthcare facility. This position focuses on delivering specialized rheumatology care for children with complex musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions, emphasizing accurate diagnosis, long-term management, family education, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric patients with suspected or confirmed rheumatic diseases
* Diagnose and manage conditions such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, and connective tissue disorders
* Order, interpret, and integrate laboratory and imaging investigations into care plans
* Develop individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies
* Prescribe and monitor medications, assessing efficacy and safety over time
* Provide education and ongoing support to patients and families to promote disease understanding and adherence
* Collaborate with pediatricians, orthopedists, physiotherapists, nurses, and allied specialists for coordinated care
* Participate in clinical research, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
* Supervise and mentor junior physicians and contribute to training and educational programs
* Maintain accurate, compliant medical documentation and adhere to patient safety and governance standards
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from an accredited institution with relevant specialty certification in Pediatric Rheumatology
* Western-trained education and or experience within recognized healthcare systems
* Minimum 5 years experience as a Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist in a reputable facility
* Extensive expertise in pediatric rheumatic disease diagnosis and long-term management
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for family-centered care in diverse settings
