Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine pediatric check-ups to assess growth, development, general health, and age-appropriate milestones.
* Evaluate infants, children, and adolescents to diagnose illnesses, injuries, infections, developmental concerns, and other pediatric conditions.
* Prescribe and interpret diagnostic tests to support accurate clinical decision-making and identify underlying health issues.
* Develop treatment plans covering medication, therapy, vaccination, preventive care, and specialized pediatric management.
* Provide newborn care, adolescent health support, immunization guidance, and ongoing pediatric health monitoring.
* Manage urgent pediatric situations and provide appropriate initial care, escalation, or specialist referral when needed.
* Direct and coordinate patient care with nurses, specialists, allied healthcare teams, and other clinical professionals.
* Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medication use, risks, follow-up care, and preventive health practices.
* Maintain accurate medical records and ensure clinical documentation follows facility policies and healthcare standards.
* Promote a calm, reassuring, and culturally sensitive care environment for children and families.
Ideal Profile
* Board-certified Pediatrician with a recognized medical degree and specialist qualification in Pediatrics.
* Minimum 5 years of post-specialty experience in pediatric medicine.
* Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
* Strong knowledge of newborn care, child development, adolescent medicine, immunization, preventive pediatrics, and common pediatric illnesses.
* Ability to handle pediatric emergencies and make confident clinical decisions under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical information clearly to parents and caregivers.
