Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients with physical impairments, mobility limitations, injuries, disabilities, chronic pain, and long-term rehabilitation needs.
* Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans designed to improve physical function, independence, quality of life, and daily activity performance.
* Use suitable treatment approaches, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy coordination, assistive devices, mobility support, and functional recovery strategies.
* Work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic rehabilitation care.
* Monitor patient progress regularly, review treatment outcomes, and adjust rehabilitation plans according to clinical response and recovery goals.
* Educate patients and families on injury prevention, safe movement, home care techniques, long-term wellness, and strategies to maintain functional improvement.
* Support rehabilitation care for patients of different ages and backgrounds, including those recovering from orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, or chronic medical conditions.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment plans, progress reports, follow-up notes, and rehabilitation outcome records.
* Apply current best practices in physical medicine and rehabilitation to improve patient recovery, reduce complications, and support sustainable health outcomes.
* Contribute to a collaborative rehabilitation environment focused on patient dignity, multidisciplinary teamwork, and measurable functional progress.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from an accredited institution.
* Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar consultant-level rehabilitation medicine role.
* Previous experience in a hospital, rehabilitation center, or specialist physical medicine setting is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of physical medicine, rehabilitation planning, mobility improvement, pain management support, and functional recovery methods.
* Ability to manage patients with physical injuries, disabilities, chronic conditions, and post-treatment rehabilitation needs.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate patient-care approach.
* Fluency in English is required.
* Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
