A prestigious hospital in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) to join its advanced medical team. What You’ll Do
* Lead and manage the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, ensuring the highest standard of care for critically ill children.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, establish accurate diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient care.
* Mentor and supervise junior doctors and healthcare staff to maintain quality and consistency.
* Stay updated with advancements in pediatric intensive care and incorporate best practices.
* Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation in line with regulatory standards.
* Educate families on treatment plans and ongoing care requirements.
* Contribute to research initiatives, clinical studies, and academic programs within the hospital.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with specialization in Pediatric Intensive Care from a recognized institution.
* Board certification or equivalent in PICU from a Western institution (UK, US, Canada, or equivalent).
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior PICU role, ideally in a leading hospital.
* Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage high-pressure situations.
* Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
