The position focuses on both complex reconstructive cases and aesthetic procedures, requiring strong surgical planning, excellent patient counseling, and careful post-operative follow-up. The selected consultant will work with oncology, orthopaedics, ENT, dermatology, critical care, nursing, and allied healthcare teams to support multidisciplinary care for patients requiring reconstructive restoration, cosmetic improvement, or advanced surgical intervention.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive reconstructive and aesthetic surgical services aligned with international clinical standards and patient safety expectations
* Perform complex reconstructive procedures, including trauma reconstruction, microsurgery, burns reconstruction, and post-oncologic restoration
* Provide aesthetic surgical procedures for the face, breast, and body, along with suitable non-surgical cosmetic interventions
* Conduct detailed pre-operative assessments, surgical planning, risk discussions, consent reviews, and post-operative follow-up care
* Manage high-acuity and multidisciplinary cases requiring coordination with oncology, orthopaedics, ENT, dermatology, critical care, anesthesia, and nursing teams
* Deliver culturally sensitive care in Arabic and English to support patient trust, education, informed decision-making, and treatment confidence
* Maintain exceptional standards of patient communication, confidentiality, counseling, and satisfaction throughout the full care journey
* Ensure evidence-based practice with strict adherence to DHA requirements, hospital policies, clinical governance frameworks, and documentation standards
* Review surgical outcomes, complication risks, recovery plans, and long-term aesthetic or functional results with patients in a clear and professional manner
* Contribute to quality improvement, service excellence, clinical audits, protocol development, and continuous professional development within plastic surgery services
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate is an Arabic-speaking Consultant Plastic Surgeon with strong experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. This role requires advanced surgical judgment, premium patient service standards, and the ability to manage complex cases while maintaining clinical safety, discretion, and excellent communication.
* Medical degree such as MD, MBBS, or equivalent from a recognized institution
* Board Certification or Fellowship in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery
* Valid DHA Consultant License or eligibility for Consultant registration
* Minimum 5-7 years of post-specialization experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery
* Proven expertise in complex reconstructive procedures, aesthetic surgery, microsurgery, burns reconstruction, trauma reconstruction, and non-surgical aesthetic treatments
* Strong experience in face, breast, body contouring, post-oncologic restoration, and multidisciplinary surgical care
* Fluency in Arabic is mandatory, with English communication skills preferred
* Strong interpersonal, counseling, documentation, and patient-management skills
* Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, high-performance, premium healthcare environment
