Role Summary
The Consultant Plastic Surgeon is responsible for providing high-quality reconstructive and aesthetic surgical care in Saudi Arabia, managing complex cases and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This Consultant Plastic Surgeon role includes clinical leadership, surgical excellence, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform advanced reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures
* Manage trauma reconstruction, burns treatment, and hand surgery cases
* Conduct outpatient clinics, pre-operative assessments, and post-operative follow-ups
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient safety standards
* Participate in on-call duties as required
* Contribute to clinical audits, governance, and quality improvement initiatives
* Mentor and support junior doctors and medical staff
Candidate Requirements
* Board certification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
* Minimum 5-7 years of post-consultant experience preferred
* Fluency in Arabic is mandatory
* Eligibility for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties licensing
* Strong experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
