Role Context
This position plays a critical role in providing specialized plastic and reconstructive surgical care, improving functional and aesthetic outcomes, and supporting advanced surgical services. The role contributes to clinical quality, patient safety, and the continuous development of surgical programs within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery procedures including trauma reconstruction, burn management, and aesthetic interventions
* Conduct outpatient consultations, preoperative assessments, and postoperative follow-up care
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive treatment plans
* Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and patient safety protocols
* Participate in on-call rotations and emergency surgical coverage
* Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
* Mentor and train junior doctors, residents, and surgical staff
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from a recognized institution
* Board certification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
* 5–7 years of post-consultant experience preferred
* Fluency in Arabic is mandatory
* Eligibility for SCFHS licensure in Saudi Arabia
* Strong expertise in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
