Role Summary
The Consultant Radiologist PET CT Imaging Specialist is responsible for interpreting advanced imaging studies in Dubai UAE, with a focus on PET CT and hybrid imaging for oncology, neurology, and cardiology cases. This Consultant Radiologist role plays a key part in multidisciplinary diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret PET CT and hybrid imaging studies including SPECT CT and diagnostic CT
* Support oncology, neurology, and cardiology teams in diagnosis and treatment planning
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, surgeons, and neurologists
* Supervise and guide junior radiologists and nuclear medicine technologists
* Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and clinical standards
* Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
* Contribute to research, academic teaching, and continuous medical education
* Maintain accurate and timely reporting using PACS and RIS systems
Candidate Requirements
* Medical degree MBBS or equivalent with completed residency in Radiology
* Fellowship or subspecialty training in PET CT or Nuclear Medicine Imaging
* Board certification such as American Board, UK CCT, Canadian FRCP, or equivalent
* Minimum 3 to 5 years of post-fellowship experience in PET CT interpretation
* Strong expertise in advanced imaging platforms and reporting systems
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Fluent in English, Arabic is an advantage
