Role Context
The position plays a key role in delivering precision diagnostics through hybrid imaging technologies, enabling early disease detection and accurate staging. It strengthens multidisciplinary clinical decisions and contributes to expanding advanced imaging capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret PET CT, SPECT CT, and diagnostic CT imaging for oncology, neurology, and cardiology cases
* Work closely with oncologists, neurologists, and surgeons to guide treatment planning
* Supervise nuclear medicine technologists and support junior radiologists
* Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance
* Participate in tumor boards, audits, and departmental quality initiatives
* Contribute to research, teaching, and continuous medical education activities
* Produce accurate and timely imaging reports using PACS and RIS systems
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with specialization in Radiology
* Fellowship training in PET CT or Nuclear Medicine Imaging
* Board certification such as American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent
* 3–5 years of post-fellowship experience in PET CT interpretation
* Eligibility for SCFHS Consultant classification
* Strong expertise in oncologic and metabolic imaging
* Proficiency in English; Arabic is advantageous
