* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and medical history.
* Perform surgical procedures for the removal of cancerous tumors and lesions, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
* Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including symptom management and monitoring for complications.
* Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment options, associated risks, and outcomes.
* Collaborate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and radiologists in a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care.
* Stay updated with advancements in surgical oncology and contribute to clinical research initiatives.
* Train, mentor, and supervise junior doctors, residents, and fellows.
* Uphold medical ethics, regulatory standards, and hospital protocols in all aspects of practice.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from a recognized institution.
* Residency training in General Surgery and fellowship in Surgical Oncology.
* Minimum of 5 years of consultant-level experience in surgical oncology.
* Valid UAE Ministry of Health license or eligibility to obtain one.
* Strong diagnostic, surgical, and oncology expertise.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
* Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an added advantage.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
