Consultant visceral surgeon specialized in abdominal surgical procedures
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant visceral surgeon to join our leading medical team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide expert surgical care for patients with complex abdominal conditions working alongside top healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art medical facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced surgical procedures for diseases and injuries affecting abdominal organs including the stomach liver intestines pancreas and gallbladder.
- Conduct detailed assessments and diagnostic evaluations to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists oncologists and gastroenterologists to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide post-operative care and closely monitor patient recovery to minimize complications.
- Stay updated with the latest surgical techniques and advancements in visceral surgery.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure thorough documentation of all procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options post-surgical care and recovery expectations.
- Mentor and guide junior surgeons and medical staff in best practices for abdominal surgical care.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Completion of residency in general surgery and specialization in visceral surgery.
- Board certification in visceral surgery.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical expertise in performing minimally invasive and open abdominal surgeries.
- Excellent decision-making skills and ability to work efficiently in high-pressure surgical environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and provide patient education.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
