Position Overview
The General Practitioner in Dubai will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services at Al-Futtaim HealthHub Clinics in Al Karama. This patient-focused role involves diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, managing chronic medical conditions, conducting routine health assessments, and promoting preventive care and long-term wellness.
The successful physician will work within a multidisciplinary outpatient environment, coordinate specialist referrals, and develop lasting relationships with patients and families. Fluency in English and Tagalog is essential because the clinic serves a diverse community that includes a significant Filipino population.

What You\'ll Do
* Deliver evidence-based general practice
and primary healthcare consultations.
* Diagnose, treat, and monitor acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions.
* Perform physical examinations, medical assessments, routine check-ups, and health screenings.
* Request and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations.
* Prescribe medications safely and develop individual treatment plans.
* Review patient progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically necessary.
* Educate patients about disease prevention, lifestyle improvement, and long-term condition management.
* Provide urgent and emergency medical care when required.
* Refer patients to appropriate specialists and coordinate follow-up treatment.
* Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate and confidential medical records according to DHA and HealthHub standards.
* Follow clinical governance, infection control, patient safety, and quality requirements.
* Build trusted, long-term relationships with patients and families in the Al Karama community.
Ideal Profile
* MBBS, MD, or an equivalent recognised medical qualification.
* Valid DHA licence or eligibility for licensing as a General Practitioner.
* Minimum three years of clinical experience in general practice.
* Previous experience in family medicine, primary healthcare, or outpatient care.
* Fluency in English and Tagalog.
* Valid Basic Life Support certification.
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is advantageous.
* Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, consultation, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and safe prescribing.
* Ability to work efficiently within a busy community clinic.
* Confidence in treating patients from diverse cultural and medical backgrounds.
