Role Context
The Head Nurse - Clinic Nursing Leadership will oversee nursing operations within a busy clinic setting, ensuring that patient care, staff allocation, infection control, medication safety, documentation, and clinical workflows are managed with accuracy and professionalism. The position plays an important role in strengthening service quality, improving team performance, supporting patient satisfaction, and helping the clinic maintain safe, efficient, and regulator-compliant healthcare delivery in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate a team of nursing staff across daily clinic operations, ensuring assignments are managed effectively and patient care standards remain consistent.
* Supervise nursing workflows including patient assessment, care planning, procedure support, documentation, follow-up coordination, and clinical handovers.
* Guide nurses in delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care for patients with acute and chronic conditions.
* Support management of respiratory, cardiac, diabetic, wound care, immunization, emergency care, and other outpatient clinical cases.
* Oversee nursing schedules, shift planning, delegation of duties, and day-to-day team performance.
* Act as a key communication link between doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, administration teams, and patients.
* Monitor compliance with DHA standards, clinic protocols, medication safety guidelines, infection prevention measures, and confidentiality requirements.
* Mentor junior nurses and support continuous professional development through coaching, feedback, and practical clinical guidance.
* Assist with KPI tracking, clinical data collection, service improvement initiatives, and quality-focused reporting.
* Promote best practices in patient safety, clinical documentation, emergency readiness, and operational efficiency.
* Resolve routine team issues, support conflict management, and encourage a positive, accountable, and patient-focused nursing culture.
* Help improve patient experience by ensuring smooth clinical coordination, timely care delivery, and clear communication throughout the patient journey.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
* Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility as a Registered Nurse.
* BLS Certification is mandatory.
* ACLS or PALS Certification will be an advantage.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a practicing Registered Nurse in a clinical or accredited healthcare facility.
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Charge Nurse, Head Nurse, or nursing leadership professional.
* UAE healthcare experience is preferred, especially in outpatient clinic or multi-specialty healthcare settings.
* Strong knowledge of nursing scheduling, staff delegation, team supervision, and daily clinical coordination.
* Excellent English communication skills across speaking, reading, and writing.
* Arabic language ability will be an added advantage.
* Strong computer literacy with confidence using digital health systems and clinical documentation platforms.
* Professional attitude with sound judgment, leadership maturity, analytical thinking, and commitment to continuous learning.
