Al-Futtaim Health is hiring a Head Nurse - Outpatient Clinic Operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a leadership opportunity within the Hospital and Health Care industry. Based at the HealthHub multidisciplinary clinic in Jumeirah Village Circle, the role will oversee daily nursing operations, staffing and patient-care standards.
The Head Nurse will guide the nursing team while working closely with physicians, allied health professionals, operational teams and senior management. Role Context
The Jumeirah Village Circle clinic serves a diverse patient population through a modern multidisciplinary outpatient environment. Effective nursing leadership is essential for coordinating clinical workflows, maintaining sufficient staffing and supporting safe consultations and procedures.
The Head Nurse will connect frontline nursing activities with clinic performance objectives. Strong oversight of infection control, medication management, documentation and quality indicators will help protect patients and improve operational consistency.
Key Responsibilities
The role will combine nursing leadership with direct oversight of clinical standards and daily clinic performance.
* Lead, supervise and support the nursing team.
* Plan daily staffing allocations and clinical workflows.
* Prepare nursing rosters according to service requirements.
* Mentor team members and provide regular performance guidance.
* Support nursing recruitment, onboarding and professional development.
* Monitor clinic performance and introduce improvement initiatives.
* Ensure nursing care remains safe, effective and evidence based.
* Assist physicians during consultations and clinical procedures.
* Maintain compliance with DHA requirements.
* Enforce infection control and patient safety protocols.
* Oversee medication management and clinical documentation.
* Monitor nursing KPIs and quality assurance activities.
* Maintain continuity of care and a positive patient experience.
* Support chronic disease management and patient education.
* Respond to clinical incidents and escalate concerns appropriately.
Ideal Profile
Applicants must hold a bachelor\'s degree in Nursing and a valid DHA Registered Nurse licence. At least five years of clinical nursing experience is required, including a minimum of two years in a recognised leadership capacity.
Relevant leadership backgrounds include Head Nurse, Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, Team Leader, Nurse Manager or Clinic Nurse Lead. Previous UAE healthcare experience and practical responsibility for nursing rosters, staffing and clinic operations are mandatory.
Candidates must hold valid Basic Life Support certification and demonstrate strong computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records. Confident English communication is essential.
