Housekeeping Associate - Rooms Division

Division will help maintain the comfort, presentation, and cleanliness of guest rooms, suites, public areas, laundry operations, and back-of-house support areas across Atlantis The Palm. Depending on experience and assigned position, candidates may be considered for future opportunities such as Runner, Guest Room Valet, Laundry Attendant, Housekeeping Team Leader, or Assistant Manager Housekeeping. The role supports guest satisfaction by ensuring rooms are prepared with accuracy, supplies are delivered on time, linens and laundry are handled properly, and service requests are completed with care.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare, clean, refresh, and inspect guest rooms, suites, corridors, service areas, and assigned housekeeping zones according to luxury resort standards.
* Support daily room readiness by replenishing linens, towels, amenities, minibar-related items, guest supplies, and housekeeping materials.
* Respond to guest requests for extra amenities, room items, laundry support, housekeeping assistance, and service needs in a timely and professional manner.
* Work as a runner when required by delivering supplies, equipment, linens, guest items, and operational materials across rooms division areas.
* Assist with laundry operations including sorting, handling, folding, organizing, and preparing clean linens or garments for use.
* Maintain strong attention to detail when checking room presentation, cleanliness, bathroom standards, bedding quality, and guest comfort items.
* Follow safety, hygiene, chemical handling, lost and found, key control, privacy, and security procedures during every shift.
* Report maintenance issues, damaged items, missing inventory, guest concerns, or room defects to the appropriate supervisor.
* Coordinate with housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, laundry teams, front office, engineering, and guest services to support smooth operations.
* Support VIP arrivals, high-occupancy periods, group movements, special requests, and urgent room turnaround requirements.
* For senior roles, guide team members, monitor productivity, support room inspections, manage task allocation, and help maintain service consistency.
* Maintain professional grooming, respectful communication, and a positive attitude while working in guest-facing and back-of-house areas.
* Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient working environment that reflects the luxury standards of Atlantis Resorts.

Ideal Profile

* Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, rooms division, hotel operations, cleaning services, guest room valet work, resort operations, or hospitality support is preferred.
* Candidates from different experience levels may be considered for future full-time housekeeping opportunities.
* Strong eye for cleanliness, presentation, organization, and small details that affect guest comfort.
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy luxury resort environment with changing operational priorities.
* Good physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, move supplies, and complete repetitive cleaning or support tasks.
* Professional attitude with honesty, reliability, teamwork, and respect for guest privacy.
* Basic English communication skills are preferred for understanding instructions and handling simple guest interactions.
* Supervisory experience is an advantage for Team Leader or Assistant Manager Housekeeping opportunities.
* Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and peak resort periods as required.
