Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our state-of-the-art laboratory in Dubai Festival City. This role involves handling clinical samples, supporting the pathology team, and ensuring the highest standards of laboratory testing. Key Responsibilities
- Process and analyze clinical specimens in compliance with laboratory protocols.
- Assist pathologists and laboratory personnel in daily testing procedures.
- Maintain accurate and updated clinical records using laboratory IT systems.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of clinical samples and hazardous waste.
- Monitor quality control measures and adhere to laboratory safety standards.
- Support various laboratory disciplines, including haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and histopathology.
- Handle urgent test results and communicate findings to relevant medical staff.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and troubleshooting technical issues.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Laboratory Technician.
- Current DHA License is mandatory.
- Proficiency in processing clinical specimens and maintaining laboratory documentation.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-precision environment.
