Mammographer
A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a skilled Mammographer to perform breast interventional procedures, maintain imaging equipment, and ensure high-quality patient care. This role involves overseeing daily operations in the Breast Care Center, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with medical professionals to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform breast interventional procedures, including stereotactic biopsy, torno-guided biopsy, wire localization, contrast-enhanced mammography, and general radiography
- Develop and maintain mammography competency and best practice guidelines
- Monitor imaging equipment performance and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper informed consent before procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Utilize radiology information systems (RIS) and electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and reporting
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols in compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and international accreditation standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education programs
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in radiography, radiology technology, or medical imaging
- Active home country registration and valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license
- Minimum of two years of experience as a mammographer, with knowledge of breast interventional procedures
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
- Expertise in radiation safety, imaging techniques, and quality control standards
- Ability to maintain accuracy in mammography positioning and diagnostic imaging
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
